Mediation Fees

Standard Mediation Fees

• Two-party cases: $225 per hour per party
• Three-party cases: $185 per hour per party
• Additional parties: Rates available on request

*For mediation fee purposes, parties represented by the same counsel are considered a single party.

Reasonable preparation time and requested document review will also be billed at the applicable hourly rate. Every effort will be made to keep this time to a minimum.

Mediation Setting & Locations

Mediations can be conducted virtually (videoconference) or in-person in the St. Louis, Kansas City, or Chicago areas.

• In-person mediations at Jason's office in St. Louis, counsel's offices, or other agreed-upon locations (Lexitas, BAMSL, etc.)
• Virtual mediations via secure video platform (MS Teams or Zoom)
• In-person mediation in other locations upon request

Jason is available for mediation nationwide - additional fees for travel time or expense, if any, will be specified in advance.

Payment & Invoicing

Invoices are generally directed to counsel, with payment due within 30 days of invoice.

• Mediation fees are billed separately to each party, unless otherwise agreed.
• Invoices can be issued to law firms or jointly to multiple firms/parties upon request.
• Payment by check or electronic transfer (ACH) is accepted. Additional fee for credit card payments.

Additional Information

• Half-day and full-day flat rates available upon request
• Mediation sessions will be billed with a two-hour minimum
• No cancellation fee if cancelled more than 72 hours in advance
• Cost to reserve third-party facility or other services will be billed at actual cost
